Welcome to Thwane Safari’s where exceptional hunting under African skies will capture your heart. The word Thwane is the native Tswana word for caracal which is a very common predator in our area as well as one of our many family pets.
Thwane Safari’s was established more than a decade ago as one of Africa’s best Bow Hunting Ranches. Big Game Hunter, outfitter and owner Marius Barnard has one goal in mind to offer his clients a high quality safari at affordable rates. We strive to make friends for life. The Ranch of 10 000 acres a true African wildlife paradise is home to the family and situated in the heart of the Limpopo Province (malaria free) at the end of the Waterberg mountain range a mere 4 hour drive from Oliver Thambo International Airport in Johannesburg.

Thwane Safari’s has now expanded in Bow Hunting with 9 spacious and comfortable drop-in hides (blinds) where trophies of your choice can be taken with ease and Rifle Hunting to accommodate Big 5 Game Hunting in joint ventures with concessions in Zimbabwe and Zambia. We also encourage non-hunters to join family or friends on their hunting expedition as we offer a wide variety of activities.
